Elif Erdem’s Story
Elif shared her story with WE ARE WALES to show the incredible contributions of BAME people in Wales.
Elif Erdem came to Wales with her family seeking asylum after being forced to leave Turkey due to political persecution. During lockdown she started collecting blackberries and making blackberry jam for her neighbours which brought a huge smile to them.
Elif has shown the importance of community spirit by collecting blackberries and making homemade jam for her neighbours.
