Susana shared her story with WE ARE WALES to show the incredible contributions of BAME people in Wales.
Susana Escalante came to Swansea from El Salvador seeking asylum due to conflict in her home country.
She has volunteered regularly by helping to cook for 60-70 homeless people every Saturday at City Church, and also helping by translating for her fellow Latin Americans.
